A wonderful and uplifting French film with a beautiful choral soundtrack.

It’s set in 1948 and follows Clement Mathieu, an unemployed music teacher who finds work in a correctional boarding school for boys. Stunned by the school’s harsh and ineffectual regime, Mathieu sets out to change the pupils’ lives through the magic and power of music.
