Outside The Box is more than just a board games café in Bramhall – we're a not-for-profit community space dedicated to bringing people together through the power of play. We believe that board games are a fantastic way to build friendships, reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and create meaningful connections across all ages.
Our welcoming café is designed for everyone, whether you're visiting with family and friends or coming along on your own. We actively encourage solo visitors and provide a friendly, inclusive environment where everyone can feel at home.
As part of our commitment to the local community, we proudly host a free weekly Chatty Café every Wednesday in partnership with the Chatty Café Scheme. Our Chatter & Natter table offers a relaxed space where people can enjoy a conversation over a drink, play a board game if they wish, and meet new people in a warm, supportive atmosphere.
Every visit helps us continue our mission of creating a thriving community hub in Bramhall where people can connect, learn, laugh, and belong. Whether you're an experienced gamer or have never picked up a board game before, you'll always find a friendly welcome at Outside The Box.
