By Karoline Peach on Aug 07, 2023
The Bramhall branch of estate agency, Gascoigne Halman is delighted to welcome two letting agents to its team.
Heather Wynn and Jan Taylor are both familiar faces in the village and have transferred from Gascoigne Halman’s Wilmslow office to deliver additional local expertise to the branch.
With a combined experience of over 24 years in letting properties, Heather and Jan are relishing the opportunity to match properties to tenants. Both experts in their field, Heather has recently become a fellow of Property Mark, the professional body for the property sector, having completed over 250 hours of studying property management.
Bramhall branch manager, Nick Longworth, is delighted to welcome the lettings duo to his team:
“I am thrilled to have Heather and Jan join our busy Bramhall branch. Both ladies have years of experience in the lettings industry which combined with their detailed knowledge of the village will be invaluable to our landlords and tenants. It’s vital our lettings agent are fully educated on industry changes such as the incoming Renters Reform Bill and both Heather and Jan are able to talk clients through complex legislation in a way that is easy to digest.
“Each of our landlords whether they rent out just one property or have sizeable portfolios, receive a management service that is tailored to their exact requirements. With Heather and Jan’s support, landlords can be as hands on or hands off their property as they wish but always safe in the knowledge that they have access to our full range of services and expertise should they require it.”
Heather and Jan’s appointments take Gascoigne Halman’s Bramhall team to seven with the village’s mix of period and new build properties, including Woodford Garden Village, keeping the branch consistently busy with both sales and lettings customers.

“Bramhall offers the best of town and country living and that’s why it is so popular with residents of all ages including myself!” commented Heather. “I love matching people to properties and, knowing my hometown so well, I can often point out aspects that clients may not have considered. There’s no question that moving home is a big upheaval but our focus is on making sure it remains an exciting and enjoyable process for every client. Exceptional customer service is what we strive to deliver and I believe that is reflected in how popular traditional estate agency services remain. House hunting online can be a good place to start, but there is simply no substitute for a face-to-face chat with local people who know the area inside out and can ensure you make the right choice of property.”
The recent completion of the Poynton Relief Road has made Bramhall an even more popular location for commuters into Stockport and Manchester. Families are drawn to the village for its exceptional range of schools including Stockport Grammar, Cheadle Hulme School and Bramhall High.
Awarded a Gold Award with Honours for Sales and a Gold Award with Honours for Lettings at the recent Estate Agency Masters Awards 2023, Gascoigne Halman is one of the top estate agencies in the country. It has a network of 23 offices across Cheshire, South Manchester and the High Peak and specialises in sales, lettings and mortgages.
