Woodford Players Theatre Supper Evenings – 10th/11th February 2017
By Editor Girl on Jan 23, 2017
The ever popular Woodford Players Theatre Supper evenings are on February 10th and 11th at Woodford Community Centre.
The Players will be presenting two one act plays and a monologue.
The one act plays are “Under Milk Woodford”, a funny “Woodford Players” production and a comedy by David Tristram called “Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish”. For Henry Smith life was rarely dull. For Alice Smith life was rarely anything else. Enter Michel – French waiter – tall, dark, and available. Exactly what happened next, no-one’s quite sure …
The monologue is the Alan Bennett classic “A Cream Cracker Under The Settee”. This was first performed by Dame Thora Hird in 1987. A poignant piece full of pathos and humour in equal measure which never fails to strike a chord somewhere in your soul.
Tickets are available from 0161 292 2420.
