There’s nothing like getting out in the garden in spring, digging over the soil and getting everything ready for a summer of bloom and fragrance. It’s also a great time to revamp your beds and borders casting a critical eye over everything, finding gaps and perhaps shifting out those plants that aren’t pulling their weight anymore.
There’s nowhere better to find something new, unusual and exciting to fill those gaps or perk up a dull corner than at the Plant Hunters’ Fair at Bramall Hall on Sunday 7th April. The event offers the opportunity to visit a brilliant line-up of specialist nurseries and artisans from across the country to get your gardening season off to a great start.
The mix of nurseries ensures there’s something for every type of garden; little gems to tempt the most discerning plants person and lots of help and advice for the new or less experienced gardener.
The Plant Fair is a fund-raising event for special projects at the hall and has proved hugely popular, rapidly gaining a reputation as the best specialist plant fair in the area offering a dazzling array of plants all for just £2.00 entry to the fair.
The plant run runs from 11am-4pm on Sunday 7th April. For full details of nurseries attending please see www.planthuntersfairs.co.uk
