Broadway Badminton Club was formed from a number of long-term members of a former Broadway Badminton Club, Matchpoint Badminton Club, Oaktree Badminton Club and Wilmslow Badminton Club. Over the last twenty years members have moved away but have been replaced by others who have introduced fresh blood and therefore revitalised Broadway to the present club that we now know. This year we celebrate our 21st birthday!!
We are a friendly and sociable club with the opportunity to play badminton competitively but not in a league. Experienced junior players are welcome.
Our Club night is every Thursday, 8-10 pm on 6 courts. Our venue at Target Life Sports, Cheadle Hulme Sports Centre provides showers and ample car parking.
Our membership fee is currently £15 per month and we have a visitor’s fee of £5.00 per club night. Junior fees are also available. All our fees are reviewed annually.
In addition we organise ad hoc social events including an Annual Christmas party usually
held in the early part of the following year and a summer BBQ.
We are currently wishing to attract more members and have finally succumbed to promoting ourselves by providing a website (http://www.broadwaybadmintonclub.org/) which has just gone live!!
