One of the UK’s top Family Law firms has opened discreet meeting rooms in Bramhall village, Manchester, in recognition of the fact that clients to keep their private lives just that – private.

The Family Law division of Russell Jones & Walker has its head office in Manchester city centre but, as their national head of Family Law Amanda McAlister explained, not everyone wants to be seen going in and out of their divorce lawyer’s offices.

She said: “We handle divorce cases and Family Law issues for many well known, high net worth individuals and they don’t want their personal business to be made public – something that can be difficult to achieve if they’re seen going in and out of their divorce lawyers’ offices.

“Indeed most people like to keep their private lives private and this is why we now offer private, discreet appointments at our meeting rooms in Bramhall Village.  It is an ideal location as it avoids the possibility friends and colleagues seeing you walk into a solicitors’ office.”

She added: “Our location isn’t, for example, situated next to a busy wine bar where people are sitting outside and we have deliberately avoided having a large sign outside saying ‘Solicitors’.”

In addition, clients will be able to make appointments before or after working hours and RJW is also offering meetings on Saturday mornings to ensure all clients have the opportunity of absolute discretion.
“Divorce is an incredibly difficult time for all concerned,” said Amanda.  “Our aim, in opening these discreet meeting rooms, is to lessen the stress factor as much as possible,” said Amanda.
