Local Children and diddi dancers Dress Up and Dance for Macmillan Cancer Support
By Nadine Lear on Jun 11, 2015
On 15th – 20th June, dance fever will hit diddi dances classes in Bramhall, both little ones and adults will be getting dressed up and puttin on their dancing shoes to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year’s special theme is ‘Legends’ and we are hoping to see everything from pop icons and super heroes to sports personalities and film stars!
This toe-tapping, costume-wearing celebration has been organised as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Dress Up and Dance fundraiser and pupils are being asked to wear their favourite legends-themed dance outfits to class, in return for making a donation to Macmillan. All the money raised will help children and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Lisa, owner of diddi dance Manchester, said: “We had a brilliant time taking part in Macmillan’s Dress up and Dance fundraising event last year and we were are delighted to have raised a fantastic £250 for this important cause! We hope to raise even more this year!! The pupils are getting really excited to get dressed up as their favourite legends.”
