Rhythm Time
Classes held at Centre Point, Bramhall Lane South, Bramhall on Friday mornings.
RHYTHM TIME is unique and is a fantastic stimulant for awakening your baby's senses, (0-15 months) through music and movement.

The toddler group, 15 months - 3 years, develops percussion instrument playing using basic musical concepts, and building the bricks of confidence.

Then our pre-school group, 3-5 years, prepares the child for playing a musical instrument at a later date using musical signs and symbols, developing an awareness of various instruments, and interpreting different styles of music. Classes are held term-time.

Mini Movers is a borough wide activity scheme for pre-school children, helping to develop physical ability in your child through a programme of planned activity, in which you, their parent or guardian, take part too. Mini Movers is for children of all abilities who are walking confidently.

The programme offers a unique Award Scheme leading to key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum. Each level of Award, of which there are 6, is tailored to individual stages of development. Badge work is included in all Mini Movers sessions in order that your child can work towards their Award. As your child progresses through the Award Scheme they will acquire more advanced levels of movement and social skills. Achieving an Award requires the completion of a variety of activities during the term.

Pre-School and Toddlers at Bramhall Methodist Church
Our commitment to children and families begins right from birth through our Pre-School and also our Toddler Group, Little Fishes.

Pre-School

The Pre-School has been operating at our church for over 30 years and has changed with the times and to meet developing regulation and guidance. It is now fully OFSTED inspected and approved, and provides a great start for children before they begin school. It operates Monday - Friday mornings and Monday - Wednesday afternoons. Little Fishes Toddler Group

Little Fishes runs on a Friday morning from 10am to 11.30am through term time and offers a great chance for parents / guardians to meet together. There is a range of free-play, activity an singing with a snack provided. It is followed by a simple lunch provided by church members at a cost of £1 - a great opportunity to continue the morning and develop friendships further.
